The FDA confirmed that a single lot of organic moringa powder from a company in India was associated with all reported illnesses. This contaminated batch was distributed to multiple U.S. suppliers, prompting a nationwide recall of certain dietary supplement powders sold both in stores and online by a major national retailer.
Consumers are urged to discontinue use of the affected supplement immediately, dispose of the product or return it for a refund, and thoroughly clean any surfaces or utensils that may have come into contact with the powder.
